Plot: Worked the Arnold with 3 rafts in preparation for assessment week.

CROOOOOOKED                                                                   

Date: 06/05/2012
Mission: Crafty Crooked
Crew: 2 rafts and 3 kayakers.
Plot: After the surf of the year at Rapahoe, we had an afternoon rafting the Crooked RIver. First time on this river and after cleaning off the rusty stick, I was able to get beck into the rafing swing. Beautiful afternoon with some beatuful gorge scenery.


RAFT WEEK II                                                                     

Date: 26/03/12 - 30/03/12
Mission: Murchison Raft
Crew: Group 1
Instructors: Baz and Koryn
Plot: We went to Murch for 2 days of river rescue on the Lower Matakitaki with Baz and Corryn.This was followed by a 2 day trip down the Buller River, camping along the way.

RAFT WEEK I

Mission: Arnold River Raft
Crew: Group 1
Instructors: Baz and Koryn 
Plot: Spent the week becoming familair with rafting, raft flipping and some rescue techniques. Also delivered our 1st safety talks and spent time on the stick guiding the raft into eddies and down the staunch Arnie rapids.
